A variety of fruit trees provides fresh fruit and home
made preserves, jams and jellies to be enjoyed by the
guests staying over on the farm. Even the lavender gets
used to make delicious homemade lavender muffins and
shortbread. 100% pure lavender oil can be bought from
the farm.
There are two olive groves on the hill behind the main
house with a total of 900 trees, consisting of Mission,
Frantoio, Leccino and Coratina - grown in the proportion
that provides a distinctive and unique oil. All the
oil produced is Extra Virgin (cold pressed) and is sold
locally as well as to the overseas market. Some of the
Mission olives are carefully hand picked and preserved
in a blueberry dressing by The Mother Person.
The proteas, mainly pincushions, are also carefully
selected and packed by the family, to be exported to
Amsterdam, Japan and America during the months of July
through to October.
