The valley is home to several well-known wine cellars:

The House of J.C. le Roux: This is South Africa's leading house of sparkling wine and is dedicated exclusively to the making of this fine product. Two of their sparkling wines, Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, are made in the tradition of French champagne and thus proudly bears the name Methode Cap Classique. Visitors can view this entire process - from the creation to the completion of each masterpiece.

Clos Malvern: It is an exclusive, small up market wine producer specializing in red wines made from noble cultivars only. They have been a major ' Cape Blend' producer since 1995 with their Auret, which not only renders a traditional Cape blend, but is also a uniquely South African product.

Middelvlei: Middelvlei is an ideal visit for the whole family. Taste their excellent wines while enjoying the peaceful and tranquil farm atmosphere, as the little ones feed the animals. They offer barrel tasting tour twice daily as well as delectable picnic lunches that can be enjoyed in the shade of the veranda with beautiful views of the lush vineyards and surrounding mountains.

Sylvanvale Vineyards: A range of handmade boutique wines is produced from the un-irrigated south facing vineyards surrounding the historical Devon Valley Hotel.
